The Pike Township Education Foundation is putting on the "Race for Education" -- a 5-mile competitive run with a 3-mile fun run and 1-mile kids run on Saturday 10/30. Both my wife and my daughter have decided not to run in this year's Mini. I already have a transfer in place for my daughter's entry but have one more left to transfer if anyone knows a runner needing to get it.

For those of you who remember Steve Atkins ... I saw him in the exercise room of our office building today. He was on the treadmill and said that he's been cleared by his doctors to begin running again. Starting off slow, as you might expect, but he was obviously eager to get going again. He said to tell everyone hello.
